I usually (read: always) feel totally uninspired when it comes to filling my kids' lunchboxes... Maybe I should give Lisa Storms' ideas a try? I have got plenty of cookie cutters in the deep dungeons of my kitchen cabinets and these look kind of manageable, don't they?

Great Idea. Where did you find the 3 part containers?!
Glad makes containers like this. I saw it at walmart.
Where do you find that tupperware??? I have looked everywhere :(
I purchased some on amazon.com here is the link http://www.amazon.com/EasyLunchboxes-3-compartment-Containers-BPA-Free-Easy-Open/dp/B004UIRUJ2/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1344561741&sr=1-1
Just wanted to mention that I have the Easy Lunchboxes as well. If you get those, just be sure you are careful when opening the lids. They are a bit rigid and we have broken a few of the tops. I would still recommend them though.
Dear Anonymous,
The lids are not supposed to break. Contact ELB regarding this problem. They have really good customer service.
I've seen them at Walmart at a really cheap price and they're great :)
What are the eyes made of?
Great ideas! But, i seriously NEED that cute little giraffe fork! It is too cute, wonder where to find it thought?
If You have a Sams Club Nearby they sell a tote that has 56 items in it including these three space tupperware containers. Its about $20.
I would like to see what these lunch boxes look like after the school run. Needless to say I am sure the eyes and mouth and all other decorative flourishes do not remain in the desired position! A great idea, if not a tad unrealistic.
amazon sells food decoration picks. http://www.amazon.com/Bento-Decoration-Picks-Animal-15pcs/dp/B002PO1A7G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373597692&sr=8-1&keywords=food+picks+bento
