When Liesbeth and I met the two wonderful ladies behind Belgian brand Chat Mechant over a year ago, we knew we should be keep an eye on them. And look at this! This summer is going to be so bright and beautiful.

Made in Belgium Mondays * Fred & Ginger Spring-Summer 2013

I like Belgian brand Fred & Ginger a lot. Funky designs, sparkling colors and a wee bit of nostalgia. Unfortunately, you cannot buy their sweet collections in Germany, nor online. But it is worth a regular trip to my friends in Belgium.

Jammer hoor, dat Fred & Ginger nog steeds geen webshop heeft. In Duitsland vind je ze ook al niet. Gelukkig ben ik vaak genoeg thuis om eens één van hun winkels binnen te wippen en m'n meisje in hun vrolijke retrokleuren te steken!

Wee Walls Wednesdays * So very impressed!

I am SO-VERY-IMPRESSED by this geographical and historical art collection by London artist Elisabeth Lecourt. New York, San Francisco, Dublin or Jerusalem - I just do not know which one I would choose for my walls. You?

Historische en geografische kunstjurkjes van Isabelle Lecourt. Zonder twijfel de mooiste collectie die ik in de voorbije maanden zag voorbijkomen, al zijn deze om aan de wand te hangen!

Zorrro is not just one of these wonderful Belgian designer brands for kids. The people behind the brand are wonderful too! We met Liz and Dirk at Playtime Paris and they are just as cool as their collection. Don't you just love the neon jacket?

Nog zo'n merk wat me fier maakt Belgische te zijn: Zorrro van Liz & Dirk (die trouwens ook het gezicht zijn achter het merk Gold met baby- en kinderkleding in poedertinten). Wat een geweldige kleurencombinaties voor de herfst!

Fall Fashion Fridays * Kidscase Fall-Winter 2012

It feels like fall in Belgium and looking at these gorgeous Kidscase collection photographs I wish it already was... Cosy and comfortable are the words that immediately pop to my mind. And do I love the Kidscase color palette?!? Being a fall type myself these earth tones and warm hues naturally suit me, so I would gladly wrap myself in one of these chunky knits. Pretty please!
