Back-to-School!

In Belgium school starts again tomorrow... Luckily my kids are looking forward to the day. But wouldn't their class rooms look so much brighter and more inviting if they were to be fitted withe these lovely candy-like desks and chairs by French brand Les Gambettes?

Amaai! De doorsnee Vlaamse klas zou er heel wat aantrekkelijker uitzien met deze stoeltjes en tafeltjes van Les Gambettes. Ze doen me denken aan het fifties-servies van m'n grootmoeder.

Als dit niet het meest originele schoolgebouw is dat je ooit gezien hebt, dan weet ik het ook niet meer! Ontsproten uit de creativiteit van multi-getalenteerd kinderboekenauteur en -illustrator Tomi Ungerer, is kleuterschool 'Die Katze' in Duitsland het meest wonderlijke gebouw dat ik ooit gezien heb.

How clever is this wall sticker by Ferm Living?! I want need it! Correction: my son needs it. He has just started learning his ABCs and this would be such a fun way of practising them! Sticker marked down as item number 103 on my wish list...

Een alfabet-huisje! Met een zesjarige in huis die leert lezen en schrijven hebben we dat gewoon nodig!!! Punt. Dankjewel, Ferm Living, voor dit mooie én praktische product.

A wag of his tail would make my day. KEK Amsterdam starts the new school year with this blackboard sausage dog named Larry. I'm loving it!

Geweldig, toch? Schoolbord Larry, het worsthondje. Ideaal om je lessenrooster op de muur te noteren.

This little office corner is just perfect! Love the Uten.Silo wall organiser in yellow. And the pretty decoupage back of the chair releases my inner DIY goddess. 

Ik vind alles aan dit bureauhoekje leuk: het gele opbergrek Uten.Silo, het rode vintage bureautje en dan dat stoeltje... Van die decoupage rugleuning gaan mijn vingers helemaal kriebelen. Geef me snel een schaar, wat lijm en een mooi restje behangpapier!
