Five on Friday * Five birthday presents that fit in an envelop

I have a nephew and a niece living in England. And all my friends live in Belgium. You can imagine that we send quite a lot of little packages from Germany to the rest of Europe. We call them postbox presents - tiny little must-haves that fit in an envelop.

Met een nichtje en neefje in Engeland en heel wat Belgische vriendjes van mijn meisje ben ik steeds op zoek naar cadeautjes die in een envelop passen. Is "brievenbuscadeautje" niet een ontzettend leuk woord?!

They must exist for like ever and ever - these elephants from Pinolino. But I just never had one and that might be the reason why I cannot handle needle and thread... And that while my mum is a super talent! You are never too young to practice!

Ontdekt in Duitsland, waar iedereen zo graag knutselt - de olifant met gaatjes, om met naald en draad om te leren gaan. Ik wou dat ik er ook eentje had gehad!

Pram necklace or pram jewelry is it called. And that's such a nice name for this wonderful pram toy by Swedish brand Littlephant, that it deserves a tiny blog post on its' own. 

Het verbaast me echt dat ik Littlephant niet eerder kende, want hun luiertassen zijn meer dan de moeite waard. Maar dit speeltje verdient alleen al om de naam een heel eigen plekje bij Studio ToutPetit: 'pram necklace' - de halsketting voor je kinderwagen.

Tiny Tuesdays * Denim Animals

Too many old denim trousers in your closet? Designer Myriam Mense did! So she started reusing them in her interior - on her sofa for example. "Getting a beautiful color on your denim is so difficult and all the bleaching demands way too much from the environment. It was time for change." She now started her own brand Maison Indigo with beautiful animals, made from recycled denim.

Je moet er maar opkomen om je oude jeans - letterlijk - nieuw leven in te blazen door er een vos, miereneter of olifant van te maken. De Nederlandse Myriam Mense startte onlangs met Maison Indigo. De miereneter is mijn absolute favoriet! Zo leuk!
