Belgium is not only a country of great clothing brands for children. Woodwork is one of these luxury nursery brands, renowned for their excellent quality. They just launched their Kennedy-collection: a wooden nursery inspired by the roaring sixites. And for all future Hollywood stars, there's a golden version of the Kennedy room.

Best wel duur, het Belgische merk voor babykamers Woodwork.  Maar ze garanderen dan ook een uitstekende kwaliteit en in sommige gevallen zelfs een gouden laagje - voor toekomstige BV's en BN'ers... ;-)

"Let's go for a third kid, I need this buggy!" said my husband, when we spotted this stroller during our weekend in New York. It is so funny and moves like a small robot… and... it charges your iPhone while walking around. Isn't that cool?!

“Für DIESEN Kinderwagen sollten wir noch ein drittes Kind bekommen!”, sagte mein Mann als wir diesen kleinen Roboter bei unserem New York Trip endeckten. Wir haben ihn so oft ausprobiert, dass die Batterie leer war als wir wieder aus dem Laden gingen… doch das ist kein Problem für den Origami von 4moms - beim Fahren wird sie nämlich wieder aufgeladen und nebenbei auch noch die Batterie des iPhones. Einfach nur cool!

Special Wednesday * It has been 9 months...

Today, it has been exactly 9 months since my little wonder was born. During my pregnancy, I was introduced to photographer Tanja De Maesschalk - one of the most talented people I have met through 2011. I am so happy I asked her to capture my pregnancy! And I am even more pleased we wil be working together on a project in the months to come.


Vandaag - op schrikkeldag - is het precies 9 maanden geleden dat mijn wondertje Anna-Lune werd geboren. Wat gaat het allemaal snel! Ik ben zo blij dat ik fotografe Tanja De Maesschalk vroeg mijn zwangerschap op foto vast te leggen. In de volgende maanden werken we met deze getalenteerde madame samen in een nieuw project. Ik kijk er zo naar uit!

Freezing Fridays * Vintage Gold at Bubble London

 

Aravore was one of my favorite brands; even long time before Bubble London. I love how their gorgeous hand-knitted garments are personally signed by the Paraguayan woman who put her time and love into it. The upcoming winter collection carries lots of wonderful accessories with tiny details and garments in 'vintage gold'.

Aravore staat voor organische kinderkleding die met de hand gemaakt wordt. Meer nog: elk stuk is persoonlijk getekend door de Paraguayaanse vrouw die haar tijd in het kledingstuk stak. Alleen dat zegt al genoeg! Volgende winter staat de collectie bol van de prachtige accessoires en de kleur 'vintage goud'!
