Cosy cashmere with dots and stars in lots and lots of colors. The scarfs and hats are so soft and cosy, that I just ordered a big one for me too.... It is grey and I love it!

Welcome to designer Martina Vangeneugden's colorful world called Something Strange. She is more than passionate about colors and fabrics and that shows in her cheerful, happy collections. Martina usually collaborates with children's photographer Barbara Decré to beautifully capture her cute dresses and models.

Martina, haar creativiteit, haar naaimachine en haar rollen fantastische stoffen: een magische combinatie! Het zijn die aparte stoffen en kleurencombinaties die Something Strange zo herkenbaar maken. Bijzonder is dat Martina de hele collectie met heel veel liefde, toewijding en oog voor detail eigenhandig maakt. Geen massaproductie dus, maar unieke stukken in beperkte oplage waarvoor haar moeder de delicate roosjes haakt die haar jurkjes sieren. Barbara Decré is verantwoordelijk voor de prachtige fotografie!

Sinterklaas on Sunday * Tiny Presents

Even though I live in Germany today, I try to keep my Belgian traditions alive and kicking. On December 6, Sinterklaas arrives and brings a table full of toys for the kids. In the weeks before his arrival, children van put their shoes in front of the fire with a letter for Sinterklaas. I think these tiny presents from Miepie fit perfectly in a girl's shoe. Don't you agree?

Sweet Sundays * Pink Squirrel

Ever since a squirrel decided to reside in our garden, my wee girl gets nuts over the tiny animal. In looking for one for her room, I discovered this - even more wonderful - blog called one more mushroom. You can find the tutorial here. 

Nu we een eekhoorn in de tuin hebben, loopt Anna-Lune hele dagen 'eeeeekoooo' te roepen - met vettige handjes en mond tegen het raam geperst. En toen botste ik op dit zelfgemaakte prachtexemplaar om op haar kamertje te hangen. De werkbeschrijving vind je op de blog one more mushroom. Super!

Such an amazing combination: aqua and red. Although I cannot take credit for it... it was Dauwke's idea - the designer behind mundo melocotón.

Ik krijg overal complimenten voor deze bijzondere kleurcombinatie met aqua en rood, maar moet toegeven dat het niet mijn idee was. Het sweaterjurkje en de kleurcombinatie zijn van mundo melocotón, de haarspeldjes van Miepie en het keukentje van Brio.

Pram necklace or pram jewelry is it called. And that's such a nice name for this wonderful pram toy by Swedish brand Littlephant, that it deserves a tiny blog post on its' own. 

Het verbaast me echt dat ik Littlephant niet eerder kende, want hun luiertassen zijn meer dan de moeite waard. Maar dit speeltje verdient alleen al om de naam een heel eigen plekje bij Studio ToutPetit: 'pram necklace' - de halsketting voor je kinderwagen.
