I was surprised to find out that Sophie, la Girafe, turns 50 in May! Cutie Pie Sophie adorned my little girl's nursey, because I simply could not resist buying her. She reminded me of a rubber cow I owned back in the early seventies. Little did I know that she was even older than my 'Koe'. Made out of natural rubbber, Sophie is lead and pvc free. In other words: the perfect little baby teether.
Sophie de Giraf. Je kent haar vast wel! Maar wist je ook dat Sophie op 25 mei maar liefst 50 kaarsjes mag uitblazen? Schattige Sophie... ik moest haar gewoon kopen voor mijn kleine meisje. Ze herinnerde me aan de rubberen koe uit mijn jaren zeventig-kindertijd. Sophie is het perfecte eerste babyspeeltje. Knabbelen en sabbelen is veilig, want deze kleine giraf bestaat uit 100% natuurlijk rubber en niet-giftige verf.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have been obsessed by play kitchens. Playing house must have been my all-time favorite pastime. Cooking dried kidney beans on my perfect little Fisher Price stove. Life pretty much could not get any better back then. So I almost fell off my chair when I spotted this adorable kitchen on the boo and the boy (via boligliv). I bet there is a spicy chili on the menu tonight.
Ik heb een eeuwig zwak voor speelgoedkeukentjes… Ze maken het kleine Liesje in me wakker. Het meisje dat niets liever deed dan kokeneten spelen met haar kleine Fisher Price fornuisje. Juweeltjes zoals het keukentje dat ik ontdekte bij the boo and the boy (via boligliv), daar word ik dan ook gewoon heel erg blij van! Zo veel schattigheid! Wie bedenkt dat?

My son Max has always been fascinated by all creatures feline, so this über cool t-shirt by Mini & Maximus was the perfect pick for him. He luuuvs it and makes me wash, dry and iron it overnight, so he can wear it again the next morning. He believes he is the coolest kid on the playground. And I, his devoted mum, totally agree!
