Even though I live in Germany today, I try to keep my Belgian traditions alive and kicking. On December 6, Sinterklaas arrives and brings a table full of toys for the kids. In the weeks before his arrival, children van put their shoes in front of the fire with a letter for Sinterklaas. I think these tiny presents from Miepie fit perfectly in a girl's shoe.
